Future Doctors Will Have Been Taught Inside A VR Holographic Classroom

The days of Med students dissecting the deceased might be nearing an end, as virtual reality has almost achieved the capabilities of the Minority Report (slide fingers in the air to browse a 3D computer floating in front of you). Case Western Reserve University is partnering with Microsoft to bring the HoloLens to the classroom.

Outside of teaching new doctors how to fix internal organs, this is a pretty good demo by IGN of the Microsoft HoloLens and it’s capabilities. If this is HoloLens in its infancy, imagine what generation 10.0 will look like.
